Jesus, Thank You The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend; The agonies of Calvary ; You the perfect Holy One, crushed Your Son;Who drank the bitter cup reserved for me; Your blood has washed away my sin; Jesus, Thank You; The Father's wrath completely satisfied; Jesus, Thank You; Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table; Jesus, Thank You; By Your perfect sacrifice I've been brought near; Your enemy You've made your friend; Pouring out the riches of your glorious grace; Your mercy and your kindness know no end; Lover of my soul; I want to live for You

The 4 Little Pigs!
We realize that this too will make us stronger...physically as well as emotionally and spiritually if we look for how the Father is working. We are not surprised that new relationships were formed in this process, and we were able to test how deep in relationship we are with some people. I cannot tell you how touched I was the night William needed to go to the hospital. Some American friends of ours volunteered to take us and help me with translating (& much more!); however, traffic was stacked so they did not reach William & me as quickly as they had planned. This left us at the street curb in front of our building for a little while. During that time, many of the people on our street that we have been getting to know left their businesses and came to us asking how they could help; they brought us chairs; and offered their traditional words of "get well" and "blessings". It was very touching. Over the last 3 days, many have come to check on us, bring us food and offering their well wishes. God is good and we are praising Him for the opportunity to go deeper in shared relationships with people. He works all things for HIS glory. Remembering tonight to turn ALL things into Praise for Him, AT
"Blessed be Your name when the road is marked with suffering; when there's pain in the offering; Blessed be Your name!"

Chew on this...
Small Bites, AT
PS: The pictures are of the type of pumpkin we can get here. A whole one is quite large. It is green on the outside and reminds me of a "Cinderlla" pumpkin. I bought a bag of cut pieces at the bazaar. I think I am going to try to make "sweet potato casserole" with it since we can not get yams here.
